Why I chose John Dies at the End
Well, I've already done two posts on John Dies at the End but I still haven't read much of it. So, I'll share why I chose it. At first, my friend Brendan told me how funny the movie was, and that he just watched it on Netflix. I was like "hey maybe I should watch it on Netflix." I didn't end up watching it on Netflix. I don't really watch much TV. But then at lunch one day it came up again, Brendan was showing us quotes from the book that made us cry due to excessive amounts of laughter. My other friend Jack, who had also apparently read the book, told me it was probably the funniest book he's ever read, but it also had a really good plot. Considering that I did not have a book to read for English yet,I got my sister to drive me to Barnes and Noble to buy the book. My sister is a new driver and went the wrong way like 6 times and it took like 40 minutes to get there. But after starting the book, I have felt that the journey to get the book was well worth it, and I agree with my friends about how funny the book is. It was definitely a good buy.

This was a good explaination on the humor of the book and it shows the trouble you went through to get it and still liked it!
ReplyDeleteThis seems as a good humorous book. I just hope it doesn't get io the hands of someone who will burst out laughing in the middle of some sort of acquired silence, because thats just annoying.
